The Olympic torch carried by a Bexley torchbearer is part of a new Olympic-themed display at Hall Place.

It was lent to the site by Christine Gosden, who carried the torch when it came through the borough on July 22.

Kirsty Macklen, the collections manager for Bexley Heritage Trust opened the new display of Olympic objects on the busiest weekend of the year when over 3000 people visited Hall Place for the Craft Fair on Saturday and Sunday.

Christine was nominated as a torchbearer for her work with the girl guides in the London and south-east region.
