Officers from Bexley Police and Bexley Neighbourhood Watch raised around £100 at a Macmillan charity coffee morning on August 5.

The event at ASDA, Lower Road, Belvedere, attracted more than 150 people.

Officers were on hand to speak about local concerns and coffee and cakes were provided by ASDA.

A/PS Chris Molnar said: “This was part of our community engagement focus over the summer, as well as raising money for a great cause. If anyone has any events over the summer which they would the local police team to attend, let us know by emailing OpShine.RY@met.police.uk.”
