Safer Neighbourhood Officers led the action and 14 search warrants were executed in Bexley cannabis farms, crack houses and suspected drug dealers at houses and businesses were targeted.

Bexley borough commander Ch Supt Victor Olisa said: “Be assured that we will bring together our resources to reclaim and help areas affected by street drug dealing.

“We will use community intelligence to deliver swift results and tell people what action has been taken.”

Two people have been arrested for drug-related violent crimes and 10 were arrested through executed warrants.

Other activities included giving presentations and working on drug education in schools.
