Winners included Blair Chandler and Jennifer Farmer, both 16 and pupils at Bexleyheath Academy, who were part of a group of four students who came to the rescue of a pensioner who fell over at her home.

In total 135 pupils from the Bexley area received a certificate and a £250 cheque in the ceremony in Dartford’s Orchard Theatre.
