Chief secretary to the treasury attended a fundraiser dinner

Bexleyheath and Crayford Conservative Association’s annual dinner was attended this year by chief secretary to the treasury, Greg Hands.

Mr Hands was the guest speaker at the annual dinner yesterday (Wednesday)

The Chelsea and Fulham MP attended the event and spoke to members about his time in parliament, where he has so far held positions as parliamentary private secretary and deputy chief whip, before he was promoted into the Cabinet as the chancellor of the exchequer’s second in command.

He also discussed this year’s general election result and the new labour leader, Jeremy Corbyn.

Over 80 guests attended a two course dinner and fundraiser at Prada’s Bar and Grill in Bexleyheath.
