Archant

The MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford is trying to encourage children to read over the school holidays.

On July 23 he made a donation of three books to Crayford Library, Townhall Square, Crayford, on behalf of charity The Reading Agency for the Summer Reading Challenge.

The challenge has a different theme every year and this year it is “Mythical Maze”.

Children sign up at the library and receive a mythical maze poster.

As they borrow and read library books over the summer they collect stickers of mythical creatures to complete their poster and discover facts about the creatures as they go.
