Bexleyheath death fall pensioner named as Jean Gerlock

The woman who fell to her death from Bexleyheath Broadway Shopping Centre has been named.

Jean Gerlack, 66, died on Wednesday after falling from the multi-storey car park at around 10.15am.

A London Air Ambulance crew landed on top of Cineworld and paramedics arrived shortly afterwards but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police are not treating the death as suspicious.

A post-mortem examination is due to take place in the next few days and an inquest into her death has been opened and adjourned.
