Bexleyheath man takes on T-shirt challenge

Bexleyheath T-shirt fanatic Andi Best is putting his passion to the test by trying to wear a different top each day next year.
At the end of the project he will be donating all the 365 T-shirts to a clothing charity which he is yet to decide on.
Andi said: “I’m an avid T-shirt wearer and my friends would often joke that I had enough T-shirts to last a lifeline.
“In reality I own about 60, which is pretty excessive, but not enough to last a lifetime so I thought wearing a year’s worth would be a good compromise.”
The 27-year-old graphic designer, who has lived in Bexley all his life, is hoping to get reatilers, designers and his local community involved in the project which he ultimately hopes will be a bit of fun.
Andi, who lives in Talehangers Lane, is looking for T-shirt donations to help him complete his challenge.
He said: “Each donation will receive its own entry on the website I’ve set up.”
Donated shirts should be man’s medium size and clean.
Andi added: “I’m expecting everything from strangers who fancy a laugh sending me the most ridiculous T-shirts they can find, to designers and retailers looking for a niche avenue of promotion sending me their stock.
“It could be a very interesting year.”
