Plans to stop Scottish MPs voting on legislation that does not affect Scotland
Bexleyheath and Crayford MP David Evennett has backed proposals to stop Scottish MPs voting on legislation that only affects England and Wales.
The Government published a paper outlining its proposals on devolution yesterday. They will be voted on in the new year.
Mr Evennett said: “It is not right that MPs representing Scottish constituencies can vote on legislation that only affects England and Wales.”
