She was given the opportunity last week at the Odeon in Leicester Square by education charity FILMCLUB, which aims to give more young people opportunities in the film industry.

The teenager admitted interview British star Eddie Redmayne was the highlight for her.

“I most enjoyed interview Eddie Redmayne because he’s one of my favourite actors.

“It’s been a really exciting experience and it was great to interview a world renowned director like Tom Hooper.”

The Townley Grammar School student was selected as one of the charity’s young reporters from hundreds of applicants, and has received interview training as part of its talent development scheme.

It is the sixth time the popular 19th century French historical book has been adapted for the cinema and also stars Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe and Anne Hathaway.
