A Bexleyheath student’s hard work has been recognised at his college’s student award ceremony.

Eighteen-year-old Luke Teuma completed the Passport to Fitness course at Greenwich Community College’s Eltham Centre and as a result is now working as a fitness instructor for Greenwich Leisure Limited.

The event on December 6 celebrated the outstanding achievements over the past year of students.

Guest of honour for the ceremony was Sue Threader, a former student of the college who is now chief executive of the Rochester Bridge Trust.
