Bexleyheath teen arrested on suspicion of cannabis possession and assault on police after attempting to flee raid

A police raid on a house has resulted in two women and a man being arrested for drug offences.

A 19-year-old man from Bexleyheath was arrested on suspicion of cannabis possession and assault on police after attempting to flee the scene last Friday at 7.21pm.

He has been bailed to return to Bromley police station on Tuesday, December 7.

A quantity of cannabis, along with £350 cash was found at the premises in Rangefield Road, Downham.

A 19-year old-woman from Chislehurst received a police caution after admitting possession of cannabis, while a 22-year-old woman from Downham received a police cannabis warning form.

A 41-year-old woman from Downham, who was also arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis, was released without charge.

Sergeant Dave Morbin said: “This address had been highlighted to us as one of concern to the local community, contributing to anti-social behaviour in the area.”
