Members of Bexleyheath’s territorial army left their desks and day jobs behind them to take part in an annual competition which will help them put their training into practice.

With stiff competition from two of their regiment’s other units last weekend in the Commanding Officers Annual Cup Competition, Bexleyheath’s 265 Support Squadron were pipped at the post and came second out of the three competing teams in Thetford, Norfolk.

The competition consisted of 6 stands designed to test the Reservist’s military skills, fitness and mental agility.

Craftsman Jordan Auguste-Ryan, 19, who lives in Mottingham, said, “It has been a good weekend and it was an opportunity to get some good team building going and mix that with some fun as well.”
