Bexleyheath town centre pub bid to stay open later

A town centre chain pub has made a bid to stay open later until 12.30am.

Bosses at The Furze Wren pub in Mayplace Road West, Bexleyheath, have applied to Bexley council for permission to stay open and sell alcohol until midnight Monday to Wednesday and 11.30pm Thursday to Sunday.

A date has not been set to decide on the future of the J D Wetherspoon owned pub.
