A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital with a deep leg injury after becoming caught under a Dutch lorry.

A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital with a deep leg injury after becoming caught under a Dutch lorry.

The accident happened at 10.10am yesterday at the traffic lights next to Sidcup police station, in Station Road, after witnesses saw a vehicle take an illegal right.

The victim was taken to hospital conscious while the lorry driver was questioned.

Student Candice Halliday-Bryant, 18, said: "I just put my bag down and tried to help, he was in a lot of pain. He couldn't understand why he had been hit.
