YOUNG girl guides celebrated the group's 21st birthday by wearing their Rainbows uniform to schools.

Five Rainbows at Brampton Primary School, Bexleyheath were given permission by their teacher Louise Hope, who was a Rainbow Guider too, to wear their uniform last Wednesday.

Rainbows are aged between five and seven and prepare them for Brownies from seven to 10 and Guides from 10 to 14.

Miss Hope said: "I have been a Rainbow, Brownie, Guide and Ranger.

"Being a Guider allows me the opportunity to give something back to the movement that gave me so much throughout my younger days.
