A SINGER has denied the false imprisonment of a male escort.

Eltham-born singer and DJ, Boy George, denied imprisoning a male escort in his flat when he appeared at Snaresbrook Crown Court in East London last Thursday.

The 46-year-old former Culture Club frontman is accused of chaining Auden Carlsen to a wall. Mr Carlsen, a 28-year-old Norwegian escort, claims he was grabbed and chained up by George and another man in April last year.

Judge David Radford warned him to adhere to his bail conditions.
