There will also be a face painter, a chance to speak with the charities, and the opportunity to buy CLIC Sargent teddy bears.

Peter Sedge, centre manager, said: “One Great Day is about community engagement and raising money for a number of great causes, but it is also a fantastic opporunity for families in the area to get together and enjoy a fun day out.

“Hosting an event like this gives us the chance to give something back to support the wonderful work of CLIC Sargent and Great Ormond Street Hospital.”

One Great Day was established in 2014 and has so far raised over £250,000 for 93 different children’s charities.

Mairi Wilson, fundraising engagement manager at CLIC Sargent, saod: “When cancer strikes toung lives we fight tirelessly so they can thrive, not just survive after their cancer diagnosis. We rely entirely on donations to fund out vital work and so we can’t thank everyone enough for their fantastic efforts.”
