A plan to improve the lives of the borough’s young people has been launched.

Bromley Council, along with Bromley Clinical Commissioning Group, and the police has launched the Children and Young People’s Plan 2018-21.

The plan prioritises six areas, including: early help to deliver improved outcomes for the disadvantaged; safeguarding young people; supporting children in care and care leavers; supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities; supporting emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people and enabling communities and securing inclusion.

Cllr Peter Fortune, executive member for children and families, said: “We are passionate about improving the way our children and young people develop into well-rounded adults who have the skills, ambition and drive to enhance their chances in life to the maximum.”
