UP to 4,000 businesses will be exempt form the Crossrail tax hike.

UP to 4,000 businesses will be exempt form the Crossrail tax hike.

The exemption of some of the capital's smaller businesses means they will not have to pay the two pence business levy to fund the project which is being built now.

But London Mayor Boris Johnson has hiked contributions of businesses in the capital set to benefit most from the new rail link.
