Call for volunteers to welcome Olympic torch to Bexley
PUBLISHED: 17:21 07 June 2012
Volunteers are needed to join a once in a lifetime experience helping out when the Olympic torch comes to Bexley.
The flame arrives in Bexley on Sunday July 22 and the council is looking for over 18s who are full of enthusiasm about the borough and the Olympics and are good communicators to get involved.
Organisers would also like to hear from groups which would like to play a part on the day, either by planning activities or providing volunteers to ensure the event goes smoothly.
Places are available on a first come first serve basis and people should contact Lynne Regan, the manager of the Volunteer Centre Bexley, on 020 8304 0911 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
