AN eight-year-old girl who was left fighting for her life after a car crash in the early hours of New Year s Day is in a stable condition.

AN eight-year-old girl who was left fighting for her life after a car crash in the early hours of New Year's Day is in a stable condition.

The girl and four other passengers, who were travelling in a black Chevrolet Captiva that crashed into a tree in Well Hall Road, Eltham at approximately 1.40am, remain in hospital. Front passenger seat Filiz Ozkan, 21, from Catford, was killed just 12 days before she was due to give birth to her first child - a baby girl.

An inquest for Ms Ozkan is

scheduled for October 5 at

Southwark Coroners Court after a post mortem revealed she died from multiple injuries.
