Pupils were given the chance to think about their journeys to and from school thanks to a theatre show about travel.

The play, called Car Story, covers road-safety issues and was performed in 10 schools to children in Years 3 and 4.

It was funded from Bexley Council’s school travel budget.

Sarah Cornish, a teacher at Christ Church (Erith) C of E Primary School in Lesney Park Road, Erith, said: “It was engaging and informative for the children. They thoroughly enjoyed the performance.”
