Cause of Crayford industrial estate fire remains unknown

The fire started yesterday (Sunday)

Fire crews are trying to work out the cause of a blaze which ripped through an abandoned industrial property yesterday (Sunday).

The fire started inside a two-storey property in an industrial estate along Crayford Road started at around 9.30pm.

On arrival, crews found the building ‘well alight’ and used hose reel jets to tackle the flames.

Firefighters had brought the blaze under control before 11pm, while the cause of it remains unknown.
