The dogs have starred in blockbuster films and TV productions

Celeb hunters in Bexleyheath may have missed a group of four-legged film and television stars walking amongst their midst recently.

The star of hit TV show Poldark, lurcher cross Barley, together with canine guests of honour from Beauty and the Beast, Doc Martin and more, were all in the town centre to meet passers-by.

The celebrity pups were with their trainer, Ashley Foster, from Oxfordshire.

He claimed they were more than used to the attention.

Mr Foster said: “They have a great life, they love performing and mixing with people. All our dogs live with families, who are either their owners or, if we have taken on a rescue dog, we will find a loving foster family for them.

“People often remark to us that they can tell the dogs are having a good time. Plus, as handlers, we have one of the best jobs in the world too.

The stunt dogs showed off their skills at the new Metro Bank store in Broadway Shopping Centre.
