FREE guided walks are taking place this weekend in a bid to get more people exploring their home turf by foot.

Two of the walks funded by Transport for London (TfL) will be going through Bexley this Saturday.

A four-mile walk will go along the River Cary through Foots Cray meadows and Cadbury Park. Walkers will meet at 10.30am at Bexley railway station and finish at Petts Wood's Jubilee Country Park.

Participants on the five-hour

and three river walk will meet

at 10.30am outside Erith station and finish at Bexley station, where they will cover the first

section of the 150 mile LOOP along the Thames.

Visit www.walklondon.org.uk to take your pick of 40 free led walks around London to inspire you to get started.

A free colour guide will be handed out on all the led walks along with a pin badge of the route logo and the first person on each walk bringing along more than four companions will also receive a free Walk London T-shirt.
