A special quiz night is taking place tomorrow (Saturday, September 29) in Welling, in aid of charity Andi’s Gift.

The quiz will be hosted at Bexleyheath Sports Club in Park View Road, kicking off at 7.30pm.

Every pound will go towards the charity, which was set up to honour Bexleyheath resident Andi White - a London Ambulance Service paramedic who recently died of cancer at Bexley and Greenwich Community Hospice, whom the money will benefit.

Costing £5 per person, teams will be made up of six to eight people - with any eighth team member free.

Andi regularly volunteered her help to a number of local organisations, including The Kent Search and Rescue service.

Organiser Paul Cheshire said it was her kindness which led to her memory being honoured with Andi’s Gift.
