The brewery is expecting a great turnout
Bexley’s only brewery is hosting a birthday bash this Saturday to celebrate its second anniversary.
A local barbecue chef, a local food producer and a local morris dancing team will all be attending to mark the occasion, with the brewery expecting a great turnout.
Five of the brewery’s beers will be on the bar, including its sought-after rum porter, along with two Kent ciders.
Owner Cliff Murphy said: “People can have a look around the brewery and we will be here to have a chat. At least 60 tickets have been sold.
“Things have been picking up steadily. We have our son working with us now, and we are growing.
“We have sent our beers to Derbyshire and Manchester, and we are sending beer to Dorset. The word is slowly getting out there.”
The event is running from 11am to 3pm at Bexley Brewery, 18 Manford Industrial Estate, Manor Road, Erith.
