A 29-YEAR-OLD man has been granted bail after being charged with sexually assaulting a child on New Year's Eve and New Year s Day.

A 29-YEAR-OLD man has been granted bail after being charged with sexually assaulting a child on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

Joseph Lyttle of Coltness Crescent, Abbey Wood, appeared at Woolwich Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with two counts of assaulting a child under the age of 13.

The dates of the alleged offences were on New Year's Eve 2006 and New Years Day 2008.

He was granted conditional bail which includes no unsupervised access to children under 16 and will appear at Woolwich Crown Court next Wednesday.
