Around 100 children were moved

London Fire Brigade is investigating the cause of a fire an an infants’ school in Belvedere this morning.

The blaze on Bedonwell Road affected a cloakroom in the single storey building.

A spokesperson from the Brigade said: “Around 100 children were moved to an adjacent school after the fire alarm sounded before the Brigade arrived and thankfully there were no reports of any injuries.

“LFB was called at 8.50am and firefighters remain at the scene damping down the fire.”
