RESIDENTS can meet with a member from a policing team to discuss crime issues impacting on their community.

Sidcup Safer Neighbourhoods Policing Team will be holding a street briefing next Thursday, March 11 from 7.30 to 8pm at the Junction of Hurst Road and Sherwood Close.

As part of a longer-term commitment the team is visiting every household in Sidcup ward, one street per week to listen to any concerns and discuss policing issues.

There is another street briefing on April 22 from 7.30 to 8pm at Burnt Oak Lane junction with Rowanwood Avenue.

To get access to news and information about crime prevention initiatives, Bexley Police is also running an online service at www.neighbourhoodlink.met.police.uk.
