The office at Sidcup Manor House will close on July 12

Weddings and ceremonies at Bexley’s Register Office will now take place at Danson House, the council has confirmed.

The Grade I listed Georgian mansion in Danson Park will take over from Sidcup Manor House from next week, when the manor house register office closes on July 12.

Appointments and registrations on July 12 and 13 will be held at the Central Library, until the office re-opens at Danson House on Wednesday, July 14.

Weddings and ceremonies booked up to September 19 will still be held at Sidcup Manor House.

From July 14 onwards, registrations of births, deaths, marriages and civiil partnerships will take place at Danson House.
