CONSERVATIVES have selected a candidate to replace disgraced MP Derek Conway.

CONSERVATIVES have selected a candidate to replace disgraced MP Derek Conway.

James Brokenshire, 40, currently MP for Hornchurch, in east London, is due to stand for Old Bexley and Sidcup in the next election, it was revealed.

Mr Conway was ejected from his party and announced he would stand down as Old Bexley and Sidcup MP, after sparking a national scandal over MPs' expenses in January.
