Council seeks public opinion as it prepares to cut £400,000 from adult social care by 2020

The council spends £2.3million on social care
Six-figure savings in the council’s adult social care budget are expected within the next four years.
In Bexley, the council spends £2.3million on social care for those aged 18 to 25 and within its transition age group.
As councillors plan where to make their savings, Bexley council is appealing for residents to give their views on improving the transition of young people to adult social care, and how to best meet the changing needs of people with disabilities.
