Crash victim family mourn footie loving son

AN INQUEST into the death of a man whose silver BMW hit a crash barrier has been adjourned. Matthew Hingston, of Highfield Close, Hither Green, was traveling north on the A21 in Kent on January 3 when tragedy struck.

Matthew Hingston, of Highfield Close, Hither Green, was traveling north on the A21 in Kent on January 3 when tragedy struck.

His car left the carriageway shortly before Morley's Roundabout near Sevenoaks.

A statement released for his Kent family by police read: "Matthew Hingston, a beloved son and brother, was tragically killed in a road traffic accident on Sunday 3rd January.

"Matthew grew up in Bexleyheath but had close ties to the town of Battle where his family now live.

"Matthew loved football and was a keen Arsenal supporter. He will be sadly missed and forever remembered."

Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit is investigating the incident and they have appealed for anyone with information or who may have seen the car before the collision to come forward.
