Pupils at a Crayford school had a brush with royalty as they visited Buckingham Palace for an awards ceremony celebrating business excellence.

Prince Andrew and Dragons’ Den judge Peter Jones presented the youngsters from Haberdashers’ Aske’s Crayford Academy with their Tycoon in Schools award on Wednesday.

Mr Jones said: “We received thousands of entries and the young people awarded today proved themselves to be the very best.”
