Archant

This girl guide showed no fear in getting to grips with creepy crawlies, snakes, and spiders.

The girls, aged between five and seven, from the Blackfen Rainbow Unit in Bexley, were visited by Animal Days Out, a Welling-based company, last week.

Alison Hope, the Blackfen Rainbow Unit leader, said: “It was amazing. All the children wanted to get really close to the animals, and they were not in the least bit worried about the snakes and tarantula spiders.

“It just goes to show that the fear of creepy creatures comes at a later age.”
