YOUNG people have said more youth clubs and longer prison sentences could help crack down on crime.

More than 240 youngsters responded to the Mayor of London's draft youth plan, Time for Action, with suggestions on how to reduce crime.

Youth Ambassador and member for Bexley and Bromley James Cleverly said: "There's no-one better than young people themselves to advise on tackling youth crime and it is brilliant that so many youngsters have got involved and given us their views.
