A lecture at Danson House will discuss the work of Monet and his fellow impressionists.

Martin Heard, a popular art historian, will examine the impressionists as garderners and painters of gardens, in the context of the passion for horticulture as a leisure activity in France at the time.

It will take place on May 12 at 11am. Tickets are £12 per person.
