Ed Vaizey was welcomed by Bexley and Crayford MP David Evennett

The minister of state for culture and the digital economy was welcomed to Bexley by local MP David Evennett on Monday.

Ed Vaizey was invited to Hall Place and Gardens, to take in the historic building, and meet Bexley Heritage Trust’s chief executive Caroline Worthington.

Mr Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford said: “Bexley has such a varied and important history and culture. We are fortunate to have such wonderful houses, gardens and churches for all to enjoy and I have long made the case for more people to visit Bexley to share in our heritage.

“Hall Place remains my personal favourite historic site in my constituency.”
