RESIDENTS have the chance to peek behind the doors of historic buildings.

The annual Be a Local Tourist Day is expected to take place in Eltham next Sunday.

Visitors can enjoy a guided tour of Eltham Lodge, a visit to the Bob Hope House theatre, the fire station and St John the Baptist Church, along with walks of Eltham town centre and Well Hall Pleasaunce.

Greenwich residents can also get half price entry to Eltham Palace, with proof of residency.

The monthly farmers market will be in Passey Place along with the The Johnny King Jazz Band.
