Two men are due in court next month charged with causing death by dangerous driving.

Jaswant Bains, 31, of Cambridge Road, Plumstead and Marcus Bailey, 23, of Union Grove, Wandsworth, are due to appear at Bexley Magistrates on Friday, September 2, charged with causing death by dangerous driving on September 23 last year in Stratheden Road, Blackheath.

This comes after a 80-year-old female pedestrian called Audrey Walker from Plumstead, died at the scene. A post-mortem examination held at Greenwich Mortuary on September 27 gave the cause of death as multiple injuries.
