A DEPRESSED teenager who went missing after visiting a pub was found drowned in the Thames.

Ben Surman, 18, from Oxford, was last seen leaving the Rose and Crown Pub next to Greenwich Theatre, in Nevada Street, Greenwich, on July 18, as reported in the Times.

The computer-mad teen had been living with his half-brother, Michael Catteral, in Thamesmead.

But police have confirmed that Mr Surman's body was found in the Thames near HMS Belfast on July 25. It is not known how he ended up in the river.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.
