AN ARCHAEOLOGIST from a television programme will be giving a talk at a renovated Tudor mansion.

Time Team's Dr Jonathan Foyle will be at Hall Place in Bourne Road, Bexley on Tuesday, April 28 at 7.30pm to mark the 30th birthday of Bexley Archaeology Group.

Dr Foyle will be talking about the recent excavations of New Hall in Essex, which were filmed as part of a Time Team special to be broadcast on Channel 4 this month.

New Hall, which was demolished two-and-a-half centuries ago was the only new royal palace of Henry VIII's youth, built in 1516 and finished four years later.
