Digital switchover comes to Bexley Thursday

PUBLISHED: 13:35 04 April 2012

People in Bexley are being urged to tune their TVs to digital or lose Freeview channels

TV viewers who do not switchover will lose BBC tomorrow (Thursday April 5), with the analogue version being switched off yesterday (3).

The rest of the Freeview channels will not be available from April 18 to mark the full switch to digital.

London manager for Digital UK Deborah Bain said: “This is the biggest day for TV in London since Crystal Palace started broadcasting 56 years ago.

“Anyone who hasn’t switched to digital should prepare for April 18 when the last analogue channels will be permanently switched off. Don’t leave it until the last minute.”

For more information on switching to digital call 08456 505050 or visit www.digital.co.uk.
