Drugs, cash and six motorbikes which police believe were stolen have been seized during a double raid in Thamesmead.

Two people were arrested after officers swooped on two addresses in Lensbury Way, Abbey Wood, in the early hours of Friday.

A can of CS spray was also recovered.

A 61-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply, and a 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and possessing a banned weapon.

Both have been released on police bail until the middle of December.

A 19-year-old woman was given a cannabis warning – given to people who are found in possession of small amounts of cannabis.
