A COUPLE arrested on suspicion of murder and allowing a child to die have been re-bailed for the third time.

The man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH) and murder and the woman in her 30s was arrested on suspicion of GBH and allowing the death of a child last October.

The pair were re-bailed last Tuesday for the third time and are due to meet with police again in mid-July.

The three-month-old baby boy was admitted to King's College Hospital in Camberwell, with a head injury on October 23 last year.

The police were called the day after when the baby died from his injuries.

A post-mortem revealed he may have died in suspicious circumstances, prompting checks on his twin sister. She was taken into emergency police care after she was found with injuries.
