Duo jailed for burglary at OAP home

TWO men have been jailed for a total of three-and-a-half years after burgling a pensioner s house.

TWO men have been jailed for a total of three-and-a-half years after burgling a pensioner's house.

Unemployed Tariq Abraham O'Connor, 19, of Cumbrian Avenue, Bexleyheath, was sentenced to 16 months in a young offenders institution and Harjit Harry Seehra, 21, a labourer of Maiden Lane, Crayford, was jailed for two years, last Monday at Woolwich Crown Court. The pair broke into a house in Bexleyheath and stole a bus pass and a camera before the occupant saw the pair running through the hallway in the early hours of January 25 this year.

They pleaded guilty to burglary at Bexley Magistrates Court on April 9. Seehra was sentenced to 12 months for burglary and 12 months for breaching three suspended sentences for dangerous driving, burglary and for a racially aggravated public order offence.
