A PERVERT who groped a woman on two mornings in a week as she walked to catch train is due to be sentenced.

Paul Loftus, 25, of Mangold Way, Thamesmead, pleaded guilty to four counts of sexual assault near Abbey Wood Rail Station, at Bexley Magistrates, last Thursday.

The warehouse worker grabbed and groped a 23-year-old just after 7am as she walked to the station along Rushdene Road, on November 19.

He then assaulted her again in neighbouring Sydney Road at the same time five days later.

Loftus also admitted to assaulting a 28-year-old woman as she walked to the station via a walkway in Felixstowe Road at around 10am on Sunday, November 23.

Three days before Christmas, he assaulted a 37-year-old walking along the same stretch to the station at 7.20am.

Detective Sergeant Warren Arter, Bexley Sapphire Team said: "DNA evidence from one of the victims' clothing led us directly to Loftus and it is a huge relief that he has been caught."

Depraved Loftus was arrested on January 15 and was remanded into custody at Bexley Magistrates last Thursday.

He is due to be sentenced at Woolwich Crown Court at a date to be set.
