The actress starred in the soap opera for more than 25 years

Veteran actress Pam St Clement will be talking to locals about living and studying in Sidcup when she returns to the town next month.

The actress, who played Pat Butcher in BBC soap opera EastEnders for more than 25 years, studied at Rose Bruford College, on Burnt Oak Lane.

She will appear at Holy Trinity Church at a cultural event between the church and the college on June 14.

Vicar at the church in Lamorbey, Phillip Wells, said: “Following on from the success of our inaugural event last year we are delighted to be working in partnership with Rose Bruford College again.

“This is a celebration of the arts for the whole local community and we are so pleased that Pam St Clement will be joining us for this special occasion.”

Sidcup Words and Music Presents: An Evening with Pam St. Clement, is at 7pm on Tuesday 14 June in Holy Trinity Church, Lamorbey, DA15 9AE. Tickets cost £10 and can be purchased online at
